Description :

Cranberry glass is a distinctive red or deep pink color achieved by adding gold chloride to the molten glass mixture during production.

This lot includes the following specific types of pieces:
  • Covered Jar/Sugar Bowl (far left): This lidded piece with a clear round finial is likely a covered candy dish or a covered sugar bowl.
  • Small Pitcher/Creamer (second from left): This small jug has a clear applied handle and a textured (likely "thumbprint" or "optic dot") pattern, commonly found in creamer sets.
  • Teardrop/Pot-Bellied Vase (center): This simple, smooth vase with a narrow neck and wider base is a common shape for art glass vases.
  • Urn-Style Pedestal Vase (second from right): This piece features clear applied handles and sits on a clear pedestal base, an elegant style often seen in Victorian-era cranberry glass.
  • Footed Bowl (far right): This open, ruffled-edge bowl with a decorative pattern and a footed base could be a serving bowl or a compote dish.
